Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct therapy services to individuals, couples, and families through virtual platforms, tailoring your approach to meet each client's unique needs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' emotional and relational health, utilizing standard diagnostic tools and therapeutic techniques.

• Develop targeted treatment plans in collaboration with clients, outlining clear goals, strategies, and anticipated outcomes that are regularly revisited and adjusted based on progress.

• Employ family systems theory to effectively address issues related to family dynamics, communication breakdowns, and other related stressors.

• Respond to crises by providing immediate intervention, ensuring client safety, and involving appropriate support systems when necessary.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Educate clients on effective communication strategies, relationship management skills, and coping mechanisms to foster emotional resilience.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to ensure comprehensive care that addresses both mental health and physical well-being.

• Participate in regular professional development opportunities to stay abreast of advancements in therapeutic modalities and best practices in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will support come from diverse backgrounds and face various challenges, including family conflict, intimate partner violence, addiction, grief, and anxiety. Your approach will be tailored to honor their individual experiences while fostering an environment of trust and empathy. Qualifications\n

• A current license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of Maryland.

• A Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, demonstrating competencies in outpatient settings.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster meaningful connections with clients.

• A strong commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and cultural competence.

• The ability to operate both independently and cohesively within a team of health professionals.

• Flexible availability to accommodate clients’ scheduling needs, which may include some evening or weekend sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a community health clinic or outpatient therapy environment is highly preferred, particularly in family therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• An attractive salary range from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
