Position Overview

The Agile Strength Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Bakersfield, California. Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in Bakersfield. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical condition, limitations, and symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Instruct patients in the use of therapeutic exercise techniques to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility.
• Administer hands-on techniques including manual therapy, stimulation, and massage to facilitate healing.
• Support patients in utilizing mobility equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, walkers) to enhance their daily function.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, tracking progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families regarding in-home treatments, exercises, and lifestyle modifications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses a diverse age range, from children to older adults, with varying diagnoses including orthopedic injuries, neurological impairments, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work closely with each patient to tailor interventions that respect their unique circumstances, facilitating recovery and advancement towards their goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current and valid physical therapy license in the State of California.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, vital for effective patient interactions and documentation.
• Proficient in word processing and computer systems, relevant for maintaining patient records and utilizing rehabilitation software.
• Flexibility and agility in adapting to the diverse needs of patients and various clinical scenarios.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, we value candidates who have 2 or more years of experience in a physical therapy setting. Experience working in outpatient rehabilitation or with similar patient demographics is a plus. Compensation and Benefits

The Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
