Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through initial consultations to comprehensively assess clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that address individual client needs, utilizing therapeutic modalities appropriate for diverse populations, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage open communication and support personal insights.
\n
• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective intervention and recovery.
\n
• Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive client care and intervention strategies.

• Follow-up on clients admitted to hospitals, liaising with attending physicians to ensure continuity of care during and after hospitalization.
\n
• Assist family members and caregivers, providing education and resources to help them support their loved ones through mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele, encompassing children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and addiction. Emphasis will be placed on creating trust and rapport to empower clients on their therapeutic journey; you will play a key role in fostering resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• A passing score on the NCE or NCMHCE examinations is mandatory.
\n
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor with a solid grasp on therapeutic techniques and methodologies.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, or similar platforms is essential.
\n
• A comprehensive understanding of co-occurring health issues, such as addiction disorders, and their impact on mental health.

• Familiarity with best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that foster transparency and clarity in client interactions.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills paired with a compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation range for this role is competitive, offering an annual salary between USD 80,000 and 100,000, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
