Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mental health symptoms in clients.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their personal goals, preferences, and specific needs concerning mood disorders.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to assist clients in managing their mental health challenges effectively.

• Provide education and support for clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care strategies to empower them in their mental health journeys.

• Continuously monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to enhance their therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and medical professionals, facilitating integrated and comprehensive care for clients with mood disorders.

• Stay informed with the latest research and developments in mental health therapy, applying evidence-based practices in treatment protocols.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development training to continuously improve skills and stay abreast of best practices in mental health treatment.

• Advocate for clients by promoting the de-stigmatization of mood disorders and ensuring their mental health needs are acknowledged and met.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will be with individuals experiencing a spectrum of mood disorders including, but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our clientele is diverse, representing various cultural backgrounds and experiences. This role requires a compassionate and understanding demeanor as you assist clients in navigating their mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage Family Therapy or Social Work.

• Comprehensive understanding of California law and professional ethics relevant to mental health services.

• Current TB Test (within the last six months) and clear background check conducted through the FBI and DOJ.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 3 years of experience providing mental health counseling, particularly with mood disorders, learning disabilities, behavioral issues, and social/emotional disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, starting at USD 115,000 and going up to USD 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
