Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to inform individualized treatment plans.

• Develop and implement targeted interventions focused on promoting emotional well-being and psychological health among students.

• Provide a range of therapy options, including individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to conditions such as ASD, learning disabilities, and trauma.

• Facilitate therapy sessions aimed at teaching coping strategies, emotional regulation techniques, and personal growth methods.

• Collaborate regularly with educators and allied health professionals to coordinate care and integrate therapeutic approaches into the students' daily learning experiences.

• Respond to crises with effective interventions, ensuring students' safety and well-being during difficult situations.

• Deliver psychoeducation to students and their families, helping them understand mental health conditions and available resources.

• Maintain meticulous documentation that adheres to ethical and legal standards to fulfill compliance requirements.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and engage in professional development activities to stay abreast of best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position is to support students with special needs, including those with autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and varying emotional and behavioral challenges. Your work will directly impact their ability to thrive academically and socially, as you help them navigate their unique experiences while fostering resilience and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a valid clinical license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is mandatory; a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• Strong proficiency in mental health assessments, diagnostics, and treatment formulation.
\n
• Experience delivering evidence-based therapeutic modalities in individual and group formats.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to handle crisis situations with composure and professionalism.
\n
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, necessary for effective collaboration with families, students, and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with varied experiences in educational settings, particularly around trauma-informed care and special education, will be highly valued. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 60,000 to 104,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
