Key Responsibilities\n

The Remote Mental Health Counselor will engage in the following essential responsibilities:

• Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups alongside experienced birth workers, ensuring a supportive space for parents.

• Participate actively in community engagement initiatives that promote holistic wellness, connect families, and strengthen community networks.
\n
• Engage in regular clinical consultations and collaborative learning opportunities with multidisciplinary teams, integrating diverse perspectives into our practice.

• Complete all required clinical documentation in accordance with best practices and organizational standards to ensure continuity of care.

• Take on additional relevant responsibilities and projects as assigned, contributing to the development of our programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on individuals undergoing significant life transitions, particularly expecting and new parents. You will work with diverse clientele, ensuring that services are tailored to meet the unique cultural, emotional, and psychological needs of each person or family you serve.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Current licensure in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, fostering professional relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
