Corporate/M&A Lawyer for Japanese Law AI Evaluation

Role Overview
Evaluate the quality of AI-generated answers to practical Japanese corporate and commercial law questions. You will review paired responses from two AI platforms and apply a standardized scoring framework to deliver clear, concise legal feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Run the same legal prompts through two AI language-model platforms.
- Compare each pair of responses side by side.
- Score responses using the provided standardized rubric.
- Submit concise written feedback for every evaluation.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of primarily law-firm experience in corporate/M&A or transactional practice; 3 or more years is preferred.
- Current in-house lawyers may qualify only if they moved in-house within the past 2 years and previously practiced at a law firm.
- Qualified to practise in Japan, with strong knowledge of Japanese corporate and commercial law.
- Native or fluent Japanese language ability and precise written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, follow a rubric, and meet deadlines.
Work Terms
- Remote role for candidates located in Japan.
- Hourly engagement.
- Initial commitment of approximately 10 hours.
- All work is subject to a confidentiality agreement.
Compensation
- 140 to 150 per hour.
