This full-time, remote position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments that evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, using standardized assessment tools and interview techniques.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective interventions that facilitate recovery from mood disorders.

• Educate and empower clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, fostering a supportive environment for healing.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs and feedback.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure that clients receive comprehensive, integrated care, including any necessary medication management.

• Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorders to continually enhance treatment approaches, contributing to our clinic's reputation for excellence.

• Maintain accurate, compliant, and confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to bolster clinical skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working to de-stigmatize mood disorders and ensuring that their mental health needs are recognized and met within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients primarily include individuals suffering from mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. The diverse backgrounds and experiences of our clientele require a counselor who is not only skilled in therapy but also culturally competent and empathetic. You will work with clients across various demographic groups, making it essential to approach each case with sensitivity and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
