Description American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2 years of acute PCU experience and Epic proficiency. Details Work in a 32-bed Advanced Surgical Med-Surg unit specializing in bariatric, GI, and colorectal surgical patients Patient ratio of 5-6:1 RN reads telemetry but does not perform titration Administers medications including TPN and pain management Performs skills such as PCA management, feeding tube care, trach care, peritoneal dialysis, and wound vac management Uses Epic EMR system Night shift schedule from 6:45pm-7:15am Works 3 days per week for 36 hours total Every other weekend required Requirements Active KY or compact RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient PCU RN experience required Epic EMR experience required Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required Additional Information Provide comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and evaluation for a group of patients Deliver patient and family-centered education throughout the care continuum and at discharge Mentor and precept staff while delegating tasks to licensed and non‑licensed personnel Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and organizational needs Participate in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives Comply with regulatory standards and unit-based practice governance model These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
