Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote setting combined with the supportive infrastructure of our outpatient office in Orlando. Your work schedule will typically run Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing you to maintain work-life balance while providing essential services to your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans aligned with their specific needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a personalized approach to care.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to each client's therapeutic journey.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, potential outcomes, and self-care techniques to bolster their recovery process.

• Monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Engage in cooperative practices with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and methodologies in mood disorder treatment to enhance your therapeutic practices and contribute to higher standards of care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring the privacy of client information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will primarily support individuals struggling with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clientele also includes vulnerable populations—such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse—who require compassionate care and tailored support to navigate their unique challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
