Business Development Manager

Job Overview Astronics Advanced Electronic Systems Inc. is seeking a U.S. Business Development Manager to plan and report on sales lead activities, visit customers, prepare quotations, communicate with key customers, negotiate prices and specifications, meet sales goals and margins, solve customer issues, provide technical support, maintain internal communications about customers, and review market conditions for aircraft seat actuation, seat and cabin lighting, and passenger control unit markets. Location Kirkland, Washington Responsibilities Plan and report on sales lead activities, including customer visits. Prepare quotations and communicate with key customers. Negotiate prices and specifications. Meet sales goals and maintain profit margins. Resolve customer issues and provide technical support. Maintain internal communications regarding customers. Review market conditions for aircraft seat actuation (motorization), seat and cabin lighting, and passenger control unit products. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. At least 18 months of experience as a Sales Engineer. Experience working with, maintaining, and troubleshooting aerospace seat motion and lighting systems. Postsecondary coursework in marketing. Fluency in French. Travel 25% travel to various unidentified domestic and international locations.
