Key Responsibilities\n

In your capacity as an LCSW, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand the mental health needs of students and create individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to each student's unique situation and preferences.

• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and contribute to a culture of ethical practice and data integrity.

• Collaborate regularly with a multidisciplinary treatment team, which may include school psychologists, counselors, and educational staff, to ensure synchronized care for students.

• Participate in ongoing education and peer review meetings to enhance treatment methodologies and outcomes.

• Educate and support students and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and suitable community resources.

• Stay abreast of the latest research in mental health and integrate new findings into practice to optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with children, adolescents, and their families, addressing a wide array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related concerns. Providing a safe, supportive environment is critical as students navigate their emotional and psychological landscapes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, especially in providing psychotherapy services to youth.

• Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy techniques and a strong understanding of developmental and behavioral health issues in children.
