Role Overview

This remote contractor role focuses on healthcare regulatory and compliance matters. You will contribute expert legal analysis, document review, and practical interpretations of U.S. healthcare law. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and annotate healthcare regulatory legal documents for accuracy and clarity.
• Analyze complex healthcare policies, statutes, and regulations, including HIPAA, the Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statute.
• Draft and refine contract language to support compliance with U.S. healthcare legal frameworks.
• Provide detailed feedback on compliance issues and identify potential legal risks in supplied scenarios.
• Contribute expert commentary and nuanced legal interpretations to AI training materials.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to discuss findings and clarify healthcare legal concepts.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and active bar admission in the United States.
• Substantial healthcare law experience at a major U.S. law firm or leading healthcare-focused firm.
• Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. healthcare regulatory compliance, including HIPAA, the Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statute.
• Experience reviewing, annotating, and drafting complex healthcare legal and policy documents.
• Experience advising on healthcare compliance matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, project-based environment.

Work Terms

• Remote independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

• $140 to $400 per hour.
