As a Telehealth Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality mental health services to clients through our digital platforms. Work Environment\n

This position allows for flexibility as it is entirely remote, catering to the unique needs of our clients through telehealth solutions. You will work from your home office while engaging with clients via secure video conferencing platforms. We provide ongoing technical support and training to ensure you are confident and effective in using the tools required for telehealth.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status through initial consultations and ongoing evaluations.

• Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on clients’ needs, which may include evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, providing ongoing support and resources to help clients navigate challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and substance abuse issues.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and medical professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care and refer clients when necessary.

• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base in the Bronx area, addressing a wide array of mental health concerns. This may include individuals struggling with chronic mental illness, adolescents facing emotional challenges, and families seeking support for relationship issues. Your ability to provide culturally sensitive care will be paramount in fostering trust and successful therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license in the state of New York as an LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• At least four years of relevant clinical experience, including individual and group therapy.

• Exceptional understanding of mental health disorders and various treatment modalities, with a strong emphasis on cultural competence.

• Ability to conduct assessments and apply evidence-based practices effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
