Compensation: up to $180,000 - $210,000 + equity Contract: FTE About the job Hawkwood is partnering with a fast-growing, Sequoia-backed enterprise AI company to hire a Senior GTM Recruiter for its San Francisco team. The business is building technology that enables employees to create, deploy and collaborate with AI agents across their organisations. It has already secured impressive enterprise traction, with more than 70% weekly active usage across its customer base. Following significant revenue growth last year the company is looking to double its headcount in the next year. The US is central to this next phase of growth, and this person will help unlock the highly competitive San Francisco talent market. It is a hands-on individual contributor role with genuine strategic influence: partnering closely with senior GTM leaders, challenging hiring plans and helping shape where the business invests its headcount. What you’ll be doing Own full-cycle hiring across sales, marketing, solutions engineering, customer success and other GTM functions, with proactive sourcing as the primary pipeline driver. Partner with senior US leaders to define roles, build scorecards, design interview processes and establish what exceptional talent looks like. Bring informed market insight to hiring conversations, confidently advising on briefs, compensation, location strategy and headcount plans. Build a strong network and presence within the San Francisco GTM community, exploring creative approaches beyond traditional outbound sourcing. Use the company’s own product to build recruiting agents, automate workflows and create leverage across the talent function. Think proactively about how AI will reshape GTM roles and the capabilities companies should hire for in the future. Use data to diagnose pipeline challenges, improve hiring decisions and develop more effective recruiting strategies. What we’re looking for 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally spanning agency and in-house roles within high-growth technology businesses. Deep experience hiring across GTM functions and a strong understanding of the San Francisco talent market. A well-developed local network, or a track record of building one through genuine engagement with the GTM community. The confidence and credibility to operate as a strategic adviser to senior business leaders. Excellent sourcing capability, combined with the creativity to experiment with events, communities and new ways of engaging exceptional talent. A clear point of view on what great talent looks like, with the judgement to prioritise quality and talent density. Genuine curiosity about AI and a thoughtful perspective on how it can transform recruiting beyond basic prompting or note-taking tools. High agency, commercial awareness and the ability to take ownership without needing constant direction.
