Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your expertise to conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with students, parents, and school personnel.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as motivational interviewing, problem-solving treatments, and behavioral activation to address various mental health issues.

• Maintain regular communication with parents and educators to track students’ progress and advocate for their mental health needs.

• Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust strategies as necessary, using both digital platforms and face-to-face consultations.

• Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities to educate staff on mental health awareness and strategies.

• Support students in managing psychotropic medication prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring adherence, monitoring side effects, and assessing therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LCSW at Crimson Care Center, you will primarily focus on school-aged children and adolescents, helping them navigate a variety of mental health challenges. You'll work closely with students on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment issues, creating a safe space for them to express their feelings and concerns. Your role is critical in fostering resilience and promoting mental health literacy among young individuals and their families.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program.

• Current, valid, and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting, counseling children and adolescents.

• Experience in a school or educational setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
