Business Development Manager

Job Purpose The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with prospective clients, and positioning the organization as a preferred solution for design and build projects, project management, and workplace and facilities management. This role combines strategic outreach, solution‑based selling, and market engagement to support continued expansion across the U.S. Key Responsibilities Build, cultivate, and secure new business relationships across target industries. Partner with senior leadership to refine and evolve the organization’s value proposition and sales strategy. Manage inbound leads, diagnose client needs, and deliver tailored proposals. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, industry trends, and emerging sectors to support strategic growth. Maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers to support long‑term retention and expansion. Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote brand awareness. Provide regular reporting, forecasting, and performance insights to leadership. Qualifications & Competencies Proven experience in business development, account management, or a similar client‑facing role. Experience selling construction, design and build, facilities management solutions, or related services is highly preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams. Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot or equivalent).
