Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through virtual platforms, documenting client histories from the initial consultation through the course of treatment.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on each client's unique needs, emphasizing evidence-based practices.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions using telehealth platforms, employing various therapeutic modalities to promote healing.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and celebrating milestones achieved during therapy.
\n
• Collaborate with other mental health providers, social workers, and medical professionals to ensure integrated care for clients, including managing referrals and follow-ups.
\n
• Provide educational resources and support to clients' family members, aiding them in navigating mental health challenges.

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in psychotherapy and telehealth practices to continuously enhance client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with various mental health issues. You will support clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship difficulties, and more. The use of telehealth allows for greater accessibility, enabling clients from various backgrounds and circumstances to receive the mental health support they need.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.
\n
• Successful completion of national examinations, including the NCE and/or NCMHCE.
\n
• Strong familiarity with electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR or similar platforms.

• Comprehensive knowledge of various mental health conditions, therapeutic modalities, and treatment interventions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a mental health counselor with proven results in client outcomes.

• Experience in treating individuals with co-occurring disorders or complexities involving physical health issues.

• Familiarity with American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and ethical guidelines.

• Prior experience in a telehealth setting is a plus, demonstrating adaptability to provide care remotely.

Compensation and Benefits\n
