Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health, specifically focusing on mood disorders, considering the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms.

• Implement therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote recovery and support clients in achieving their mental health goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents facing mood disorders, including anxiety and depression. This may include working directly within school systems, collaborating with educators and administrators to support students' mental health needs and academic success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n
