Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while still being part of a collaborative team. Your work will primarily support our community health clinic model, where you will engage with patients through telehealth platforms. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to accommodate patients’ scheduling preferences.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support patients’ mental health goals, ensuring approaches are culturally responsive.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering resilience and encouraging healing.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive, coordinated care to your patients.

• Engage in crisis intervention and provide immediate support for patients experiencing mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources, enhancing their understanding and efficacy in managing their health.

• Maintain meticulous patient documentation in compliance with ethical and legal requirements through electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively participate in case conferences, team trainings, and cultural competency workshops to enhance both personal and team development.

• Stay current with research and the latest best practices in mental health, ensuring your practice reflects the most effective therapeutic strategies.

You will primarily work with a diverse range of patients, including ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ communities, and immigrant families. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
