Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children or in an educational environment is a plus
• Ability to collaborate with educators, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting student learning
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or paraprofessional certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with daily instructional activities and classroom management
• Support individual students or small groups, reinforcing lessons and helping with assignments
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere for all learners
• Supervise students in various settings, such as classrooms, cafeterias, or during special activities
• Help organize and prepare instructional materials and classroom resources
• Support students with special needs, following individualized education plan (IEP) goals, as applicable
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and sensitive school matters
