Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to understand their unique needs.
\n
• Providing individualized therapy sessions for individuals and families that are tailored to address their specific challenges and goals.
\n
• Completing necessary documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, in compliance with specified time frames to ensure efficient care delivery.
\n
• Developing and implementing crisis intervention plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to support our patients' ongoing stability and recovery.
\n
• Ensuring a comprehensive discharge plan is created for patients transitioning out of the service.
\n
• Adhering to all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies to maintain the highest standards of ethical practice.
\n
• Continuously advancing your professional competence through training and ongoing education opportunities.
\n
• Engaging in case consultations and participating actively in agency meetings to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among peers.
\n
• Complying with all licensure requirements and mandatory training programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will serve a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our focus is on providing culturally competent care sensitive to the backgrounds and experiences of our clients, ensuring they receive the compassionate support required for their specific situations.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field that enables licensure.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW) within the State of Nevada.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, we prefer candidates with experience in outpatient mental health settings, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques and familiarity with evidence-based practices. Exposure to interdisciplinary teams is also valued, as collaboration is vital to our approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n
