Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will play a crucial role in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans that address individual patient needs to promote recovery and enhance functional abilities.
• Directing and overseeing the activities of physical therapy assistants to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered in alignment with established treatment protocols.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, utilizing diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve, and joint assessments to establish baseline capabilities.
• Providing therapy services directly in the rehabilitation facility, as well as evaluating home environments where applicable, to ensure comprehensive care considerations.
• Administering therapeutic exercises and educating clients on best practices for injury prevention and wellness maintenance.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to participate in case conferences, contributing insights that influence treatment approaches and care planning.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Engaging with clients and families to educate them on treatment goals and exercises, fostering an understanding of their rehabilitation process.
• Participating in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices in physical therapy and patient care.
