Experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist - Full-Time Opportunity

Work Environment

As a member of our outpatient office in Stafford, Virginia, you will thrive in a supportive and dynamic work environment. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and resources aimed at enhancing patient recovery. Schedules are designed for a full-time commitment, Monday through Friday, encompassing 40 hours per week, allowing for meaningful engagement with each patient.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations for patients referred by physicians, utilizing clinical assessments to develop tailored treatment programs.
• Implementing individualized therapy plans that demonstrate expertise in various specialties such as orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Providing hands-on therapeutic care through skilled manual techniques and modalities adapted to each patient's unique circumstances.
• Monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes in collaboration with both patients and referring physicians.
• Educating patients and their caregivers about their conditions and necessary rehabilitation exercises, ensuring adherence to prescribed treatment protocols.
• Meeting organizational objectives and utilization targets while striving to enhance overall patient care delivery.
• Contributing to a positive clinic culture by exemplifying excellent customer service and effective communication skills.

Qualifications

As a qualified candidate for the Physical Therapist position, you must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in outpatient settings, demonstrating proficiency in manual therapy and patient-centered care.
• A current CPR certification.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively connect with patients and colleagues alike.
• Proficient computer skills for managing patient documentation and utilizing physical therapy software.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference may be given to candidates who:

• Have specialized certification in therapeutic areas such as orthopedics, pediatrics, or sports medicine.
• Exhibit a strong desire for community involvement and relationship building within Stafford.
• Demonstrate a history of effectively working within collaborative team environments to improve patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a robust salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
