Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our outpatient clinic located in Stafford, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore muscle function according to established care plans.
• Oversee the implementation of treatment protocols performed by physical therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to the care plan.
• Conduct evaluations of patients' musculoskeletal and functional abilities through diagnostic tests and assessments.
• Assess patients' home environments and recommend modifications to enhance independence and safety.
• Administer therapeutic services, including manual exercises, traction, and application of physical agents for pain relief and rehabilitation.
• Evaluate, fit, and make recommendations regarding prosthetic and orthotic devices to support patient mobility.
• Document clinical evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, offering insights and suggestions based on clinical observations.”
• Educate patients and families on therapy protocols and equipment use for improved self-management.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and corporate policies during all clinical activities.
• Engage in ongoing evaluation and adjustments of treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.

Qualifications
