Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories and performing physical assessments to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment goals to both patients and their families, fostering an inclusive approach to care.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols and adjust plans as necessary based on patient progress, adherence to new healthcare trends, and professional guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated care and effective rehabilitation strategies.
• Document patient care activities meticulously, including initial evaluations, ongoing treatment notes, and discharge plans, to maintain clear communication among providers and ensure continuity of care.
• Manage your schedule effectively and maintain productivity expectations while adapting to the evolving demands of patient care.
• Participate in departmental marketing initiatives to bolster community engagement and promote accessibility to our services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily be working with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or rehabilitating from sports injuries. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as required by the state of Virginia to practice physical therapy.
• American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.
• No prior work experience in physical therapy is required; we welcome new graduates.

Preferred Experience
