Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Ernest Physical Therapy, you will work onsite primarily in patients' homes, allowing for a personalized and comfortable care environment. The role offers a standard 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, enabling a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' conditions and establish individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and physician recommendations.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adjusting treatments as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises, home management techniques, and injury prevention strategies.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment modifications, and communications with healthcare providers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population you will serve spans a diverse range of specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine. Each patient will present unique challenges and goals, allowing you to tailor your approach and interventions. Your role will be pivotal in supporting their recovery journeys, from post-operative rehabilitation to gradual return to daily activities and sports performance.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Physical Therapist position, you need to possess the following:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, along with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency for documentation, reporting, and scheduling needs.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in home care settings or outpatient physical therapy is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with patients and their families will be critical to your success in this role. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, complemented by performance-based incentives. Our benefits package includes:
