Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Athletics Therapy Center, you will work onsite in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation setting equipped with modern therapy tools, equipment, and technology. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, including strength, balance, and mobility, to create customized treatment plans aimed at restoring function and reducing pain.
• Implement therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices and continually monitor patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team, including occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and family members, to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, safety measures, and wellness strategies that promote ongoing recovery and health maintenance.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans to comply with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and rehabilitation practices within the facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Athletics Therapy Center, you will primarily work with a diverse population of patients, including seniors and individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current Virginia PT license in good standing is mandatory.

Preferred Experience
