The Life Journey Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our compassionate team in a full-time capacity. Work Environment\n

This remote position allows our therapists to work from the comfort of their own homes while integrating into our tightly-knit team that values communication, empathy, and collaboration. Regular video calls, team meetings, and case conferences ensure that all team members are aligned in their practices and approaches. While we predominantly work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, some flexibility in scheduling may be required to accommodate the unique needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally aware mental health assessments to ascertain patients’ unique challenges and identify tailored treatment paths.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring each treatment plan is custom-fit to reflect the patient’s cultural and personal context.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, using a variety of therapeutic modalities to promote resilience and address specific mental health concerns.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure well-rounded care is delivered.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing effective de-escalation techniques.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment methods, and available community resources for added support.

As a Mental Health Therapist at our center, you will primarily serve a diverse population, including individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, cultural minorities, and the LGBTQ+ community. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
