Director of Overseas Market Operations

- Bachelor’s degree or higher; preference given to candidates with degrees in marketing, food science, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the local market; experience in the food industry (preferably seafood) or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) is required; preference given to candidates with experience in the Singapore and Malaysia markets, as well as with distributors and consumer-facing operations.
- Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English; excellent communication, negotiation, market development, and operational coordination skills; willing to be stationed long-term in Singapore and able to accept short-term business trips.
- Knowledge of Southeast Asian food industry policies; proficiency in office software; responsible, able to work well under pressure, and possessing basic data analysis skills. 1. Responsible for the Southeast Asian market, primarily focusing on the development and full lifecycle management of distributors in Singapore and Malaysia; researching regional market channel characteristics to build a stable and efficient distributor network; formulating reasonable distributor partnership policies, incentive programs, and training plans to empower distributor teams and maintain strong cooperative relationships; and gradually expanding the distributor network to other Southeast Asian markets to achieve full regional channel coverage.
- Coordinate omnichannel operations for the consumer market in Singapore and Malaysia, covering offline supermarkets, fresh food stores, foodservice partnerships, as well as online e-commerce platforms and social media. Develop operational strategies tailored to the regional market by incorporating local consumer habits and needs; oversee consumer channel expansion, customer retention, and after-sales support to improve product conversion and repurchase rates, thereby strengthening the brand’s influence in the region.
- Conduct regular research on seafood market trends, competitor activities, and relevant policies and regulations in Singapore, Malaysia, and other Southeast Asian markets; collect market intelligence and produce research and analysis reports; coordinate the breakdown, implementation, and tracking of regional sales and operational targets; facilitate efficient communication between company headquarters, local distributors, and consumer-facing channels; ensure smooth product supply and logistics; and promptly resolve various issues arising from partnerships and operations.
- Lead local product brand promotion efforts; plan and execute promotional activities—such as sales promotions, product tastings, and online influencer campaigns—tailored to local market characteristics to increase product visibility and market share; collaborate with distributors and consumer-facing channels to advance brand promotion and build a competitive brand image.
- Track sales and operational data; conduct in-depth analyses of market pain points, user needs, and operational weaknesses to identify market opportunities; optimize distributor management strategies and consumer-facing operational plans based on data, and promptly adjust priorities to ensure performance targets are met and the market continues to grow.
- Be responsible for coordinating local product quality control efforts; liaise with headquarters’ supply chain and local distributors to oversee quality assurance during product storage and transportation; promptly address product quality-related complaints to safeguard the brand’s reputation.
- Coordinate resources across the region; collaborate with distributors, consumer-facing channels, and relevant headquarters departments to ensure the implementation of all tasks; establish efficient communication mechanisms to address unexpected situations in the regional market and ensure stable market operations.
