We primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on personalized treatment without constraints.Work EnvironmentThis role is based onsite within our rehabilitation facility, which fosters teamwork and collaboration. Currently, our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and a dedicated physical therapist assistant (PTA). The work environment is designed to encourage professional development while ensuring high standards of patient care. You will typically engage in one-on-one patient interactions in a well-structured setting, enabling you to cultivate meaningful therapeutic relationships and provide expansive care.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, limitations, and goals during initial assessments.Develop and implement comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and aspirations.Manage a patient caseload effectively, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality care and adequate time for interaction.Provide cost-effective treatment modalities aimed at improving clients' range of motion and functional mobility.Explore and implement non-invasive alternatives to medication and surgical interventions to address patient concerns.Design individualized fitness and wellness programs that not only facilitate rehabilitation but also promote long-term health.Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to enhance the therapeutic experience and improve patient outcomes.Document and track the progress of treatments in electronic medical records (EMR), maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient management and well-being.Evaluate treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to care plans based on outcome measures and patient feedback.Patient Population / Client FocusOur patient demographic is diverse, consisting predominantly of individuals suffering from orthopedic conditions that require rehabilitative intervention. Your expertise will be vital as you guide each patient toward achieving their rehabilitation goals in a supportive and motivating atmosphere.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.A valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license, with an unblemished professional record reflecting no board or disciplinary actions.Demonstrated competence in manual therapy techniques and a robust foundation in exercise protocol development.Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is essential for efficient patient management and documentation.Preferred ExperienceAt least two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, providing hands-on patient care and rehabilitation services.Proven success in treating a varied patient caseload, enhancing individual patient experiences, and contributing to positive outcomes.Experience in collaborating with physical therapy assistants and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care delivery.Compensation and BenefitsThe salary for this full-time Physical Therapist position ranges from $120,000 to $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
