We are seeking dedicated individuals to serve as Paraprofessionals on a full school year contract basis for positions near Kansas City, MO. These roles offer the opportunity to work in dynamic educational settings, empowering students and collaborating with teachers to create positive learning experiences.

This assignment begins immediately and extends through the end of the school year in late May. Two positions are available: one at the middle school level (7:00 AM–2:30 PM) and the other at the elementary level (9:00 AM–4:25 PM). Flexibility is key, as reassignment within the district may occur during the contract period.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active substitute certificate with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)
• Previous experience in school settings, particularly with behavior support
• Ability to pass required fingerprint background checks (candidate is responsible for cost)
• Dependable transportation
• Willingness to adapt to different classrooms or settings as needed

Key Duties:

• Provide classroom and behavioral support under teacher direction
• Assist with one-on-one or small-group instruction
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all students
• Collaborate effectively with staff and participate in ongoing training
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school protocols
