Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, particularly Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to individual client needs for stress alleviation and emotional regulation.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to uncover individual stressors and obstacles and formulate personalized mindfulness practices.

• Guide clients through various mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques aimed at enhancing self-awareness and emotional resilience.

• Develop and facilitate engaging group workshops on mindfulness and stress management techniques, fostering a sense of community among participants.

• Incorporate mindfulness strategies into individual therapy sessions to address and improve clients’ specific mental health concerns.

• Collaborate closely with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to create a cohesive treatment plan integrating comprehensive mindfulness strategies.

• Maintain accurate records of client sessions, mindfulness interventions, and progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through personal mindfulness practices and training, cultivating expertise in mindfulness methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse client population ranging from young adults to senior individuals, seeking support for anxiety, depression, stress management, and overall life challenges. By implementing mindfulness methods in therapy, you will guide clients toward navigating their unique obstacles and enhancing their well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland is required.
\n
• Strong foundation in integrating mindfulness practices into therapy, with specific training or certifications in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) preferred.

• Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to establish a compassionate therapeutic rapport.

Compensation and Benefits\n
