Fine Spine Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our exceptional team at our home care facility in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, as you will deliver home physical therapy services directly to clients across Fredericksburg and the surrounding areas. You will have a flexible schedule, working Monday through Friday, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while providing vital healthcare support to those in need. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and administer physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring function, aligning with prescribed care guidelines.
• Evaluate patients' functional abilities through comprehensive assessments, including diagnostic tests on muscles, nerves, and joints.
• Assess and recommend modifications to the home environment to enhance clients' independence and safety during rehabilitation.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, instruct clients in home exercises, and assist with manual therapies and physical agents as required.
• Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring adherence to care plans and providing mentorship where applicable.
• Cultivate relationships with clients and their families, ensuring they understand treatment plans and empowering them to actively engage in their recovery.
• Document patient progress through accurate clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute perspectives on the comprehensive care strategies for each patient.
• Adapt treatment plans based on observing patient progress and feedback, communicating effectively with physicians and case managers.
• Ensure all clinical documentation is submitted promptly and accurately, following company policies and state regulations.
• Conduct on-site functional assessments and continually revise care plans to meet evolving client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse patient population including older adults, individuals recovering from surgery, and those managing chronic conditions. Your interventions will be vital in helping clients regain independence and improve their overall quality of life through tailored rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of one year of professional experience in physical therapy, preferably in an acute care or home health setting.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, with a commitment to maintaining good standing.
• Active CPR certification.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient engagement and effective communication with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home healthcare or working within an interdisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
