Role Description This is a contract, hybrid Salesperson role based in New York, NY, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Salesperson will prospect and qualify new leads, conduct outreach via phone, email, and in-person meetings, and present Highline’s litigation support services to law firms and corporate legal departments. Daily activities include managing a pipeline of opportunities, preparing proposals, coordinating with operations to ensure accurate service scoping, and following up to close business. The role also involves maintaining client relationships, monitoring customer satisfaction, collecting feedback, and representing Highline at industry events or networking functions as needed. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in lead generation, cold calling, and relationship‑building in a B2B or professional services environment. Experience in sales presentations, negotiation, and closing deals, with a focus on consultative selling. Strong organizational, time‑management, and CRM skills for tracking prospects, activities, and results. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear, professional email and phone etiquette. Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, collaborate effectively with internal teams, and adapt to client needs. Familiarity with legal services, court reporting, or related industries is highly beneficial. Comfort with basic office software and online meeting tools; willingness to learn new systems as needed.
