Expect to engage in a fast-paced yet supportive environment that encourages the professional growth of its staff through additional training and collaborative initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations for new patients, reviewing medical histories, performing physical assessments, and establishing clear documentation of findings and treatment recommendations.Communicate evaluation results and proposed treatment plans effectively to patients and their families, ensuring they are actively involved in goal-setting and care decisions.Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs, demonstrating adaptability in response to each patient's unique presentations.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consulting with physicians and other specialists as necessary to enhance patient care and adjust rehabilitation plans based on evolving needs.Manage discharge planning processes, ensuring that follow-up care is seamless and patients are well-informed about ongoing self-care strategies, rehabilitation goals, and expected outcomes.Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation that reflects the care provided, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.Exhibit proficient time management and productivity, aligning with clinic targets while ensuring that patients receive the required attention and care during each session.Engage in community marketing initiatives to promote clinic services and enhance patient access, representing Pace with professionalism and enthusiasm.Patient Population / Client FocusYour role will involve working with a varied patient population ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. You will have the opportunity to make meaningful impacts on individuals of all ages, helping them regain mobility, strength, and confidence in their daily activities. Your compassionate approach will be crucial in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.A current license to practice physical therapy as required by Virginia state laws.Current certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.Though prior experience is highly valued, it is not a strict requirement; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.Preferred ExperienceWhile previous experience in a similar outpatient setting is advantageous, we seek individuals with a passion for learning and a commitment to professional development. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus, as is familiarity with current best practices in orthopedic or neurological rehabilitation.Compensation and BenefitsThis rewarding position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
