Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Little Fuse, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Performing thorough diagnoses and treatment of a variety of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. You will regularly update care plans based on evolving patient needs and outcomes.

• Conducting safety assessments and crisis interventions as necessary, ensuring that patients receive appropriate emotional support in urgent situations.

• Facilitating referrals to community services, treatment programs, support groups, and other mental health specialists to enhance patient well-being and recovery pathways.
\n
• Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary care team to establish comprehensive discharge plans, ensuring continuity of care for patients transitioning out of direct services.
\n
• Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as adhering to organizational standards in mental health practice.
\n
• Utilizing strong organizational skills to prioritize daily tasks while managing the workload associated with new, current, and discharging patients.
\n
• Providing psycho-social assessments and crisis intervention services, including bereavement support and other necessary social work interventions.
\n
• Acting as an advocate for patients, ensuring effective communication among multidisciplinary care teams and assisting in navigating complex discharge processes.

• Identifying patients at risk for extended stays or complex discharge needs and coordinating with care providers to develop optimal solutions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population, including individuals experiencing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mood disorders. Your expertise will help patients overcome their unique challenges, promoting recovery and enhancing their quality of life through tailored therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory; however, a Master's Degree preferred for advanced practice roles.

• Current State Licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Psychologist is required.
\n
• Demonstrated familiarity with community mental health resources that can support our clients beyond the clinic.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

• Proven ability to build rapport and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients of diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in community mental health settings or with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms, enhancing virtual care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, you will be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.
