Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status and identify underlying issues.

• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Deliver regular therapy sessions (both individual and group) utilizing culturally responsive methods to engage and support clients effectively.

• Monitor client progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to meet changing needs and goals.

• Facilitate referrals to additional healthcare providers, such as medical doctors or psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive care.

• Document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policy.

• Stay current with mental health best practices and participate in continuing education initiatives to enhance professional knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a varied clientele, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues including, but not limited to, substance abuse, depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and more complex emotional challenges. The ideal candidate will bring experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of the cultural factors that influence mental health and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A minimum of four years of full-time experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably in a community health setting.

• Demonstrated expertise in various therapeutic modalities and a deep understanding of mental health disorders.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills with the ability to navigate complex emotional scenarios calmly and effectively.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus the ability to establish rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
