• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments that encompass a client’s mental health history, strengths, challenges, and resources to establish appropriate therapeutic pathways.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy grounded in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Trauma-Focused Therapy.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that include clear goals and measurable outcomes in collaboration with the client and treatment team.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions and psychoeducational classes, enhancing clients’ understanding of their conditions and available coping strategies.

• Offer crisis intervention, perform risk assessments, and develop safety plans, ensuring immediate and effective support during critical moments.

• Maintain accurate client records and documentation that aligns with ethical and legal standards, enabling continuity of care and quality assurance.

• Collaborate with team members to continually assess and refine treatment strategies, ensuring alignment with best practices and client-centered approaches.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Odyssey House, you will engage with a diverse patient population seeking support for a variety of mental health issues. This includes clients grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other mental health challenges. Your role will be critical in understanding the unique socio-cultural dynamics of each patient, allowing you to tailor interventions effectively and empathetically.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and clinical assessment skills.
