Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake interviews to assess and diagnose clients' needs, ensuring accurate case histories and tailored treatment plans are developed.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practice frameworks to foster healing and personal growth.

• Maintain detailed progress notes, treatment plan updates, and closing documents in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with the Behavioral Health Department on specialized programs and coordinate services to enhance client experience and outcomes.

• Facilitate workshops and information sessions to educate clients and the community about mental health resources and wellness practices.

• Assist in advocating for community mental health resources, strengthening ties between our organization and local support networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse clientele, including couples navigating relationship challenges, families dealing with dynamics and adjustments, and individuals facing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Your role is crucial in helping clients understand and break negative patterns, improve their communication strategies, and build resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• Current LMFT license with up-to-date compliance on state requirements and supervision guidelines.
\n
• At minimum, two (2) years of experience in mental health services, particularly in crisis management and therapeutic interventions.

• Strong communication skills to effectively articulate expectations to team members while fostering a collaborative atmosphere.

• Exceptional multitasking abilities, with a proven track record of managing timelines and competing deadlines effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum experience required is two years, experience with specialized populations or issues like trauma-informed care, child and adolescent therapy, or addiction recovery is highly valued. Familiarity with telehealth technologies and electronic health record systems (EHR) will also enhance your contribution to our team.
