Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, formulate clinical diagnoses, and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Lead individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based modalities. For instance, you might utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques in group therapy to help clients address anxiety and depression.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients facing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance and safety planning.

• Maintain detailed and confidential client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, adhering strictly to ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate closely with a diverse multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate holistic care tailored to each client's needs.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment pathways, and available resources in the community, empowering them through knowledge and advocacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele consisting of individuals, couples, families, and groups experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role will involve understanding and responding to the unique cultural, social, and economic factors that impact our clients.

Qualifications\n

• Active licensure in Virginia as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW).

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
