Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and formulate tailored treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices.

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to facilitate effective interventions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups that promote awareness and understanding of mental health issues and foster a sense of community among participants.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other members of the multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic care that meets the diverse needs of our patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and strategies during mental health emergencies to help stabilize clients effectively.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local community resources to enhance their coping strategies and overall well-being.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring a high level of accountability in patient care.

• Engage in case consultations and contribute actively to team discussions and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders and a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Proven ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop effective, individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy to culturally and demographically diverse populations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective relationship-building with clients and team members alike.

• Sound judgment regarding professional boundaries and ethical standards.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a comfort with technology that supports remote therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience\n
