Work Environment\n

This position allows you to work remotely, providing flexibility while maintaining a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will connect with clients through telehealth platforms, ensuring continuity of care and the ability to reach individuals in need across various locations. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a complete understanding of their mental health status.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals, preferences, and unique needs.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in managing their mood disorders effectively.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families about the nature of mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Regularly monitor and track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of a client’s wellbeing.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional growth opportunities to continually enhance your skills.

• Advocate for clients, addressing mental health stigmas and ensuring their voices are heard and needs are met.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals affected by mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also have the opportunity to work with marginalized groups, including homeless populations, refugees, and domestic abuse survivors, providing vital support and resources that can lead to transformative changes in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is necessary.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
