Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to tailor individualized therapy plans that address client needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy—to individuals, families, and groups.

• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records that comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring proper documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic client care, sharing insights and resources to achieve the best therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage actively in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay current with the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families who have limited access to health services, addressing a wide spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will help empower clients by building resilience and coping strategies, fostering a supportive environment where they can explore their feelings and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
\n
• An active and unrestricted license to practice as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating knowledge and practical application of therapeutic techniques.

• A solid understanding of ethical and legal standards relevant to counseling practice.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse client populations.

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to efficiently manage documentation and client information.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly valued.

• Previous involvement in community outreach or programs aimed at expanding access to mental health services is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
