Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather information on patients' backgrounds and trauma histories.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that address individual patient needs, focusing on trauma recovery and building resilience.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to promote healing and recovery.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma experiences and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integrated care for all patients.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients receive immediate and appropriate care.
\n
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them on their healing journey.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards to safeguard patient information.

• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Keeping current on the latest research and treatment best practices to enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

We are particularly focused on reaching underserved communities that encounter barriers to accessing mental health services. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCPC in the state of Maryland.

• Solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications related to mental health documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, we prefer candidates who have:

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies such as EMDR or TF-CBT.

• The ability to effectively address a range of behavioral and mental health issues.

• A proactive and self-guided approach in completing clinical documentation within 24 hours.
\n
• A willingness to work with couples, for which training will be provided.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 110,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including:
