Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCPC at Tarrant, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' personal histories and identify suitable treatment methods.
\n
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
\n
• Delivering engaging individual and group therapy sessions that facilitate healing, the processing of trauma, and the enhancement of coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure that patients receive integrated and comprehensive care.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, aiding clients in their most vulnerable moments.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources for continued support.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities that emphasize trauma-informed care practices.

• Staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of trauma therapy.

The clientele served at Tarrant Post-Acute Care Practice Center consists of individuals grappling with trauma and related mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• A current and valid licensure as an LCPC in the state of Maryland.
\n
• A solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client care.
\n
• The capability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
\n
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively alongside various healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value dedication and a passion for trauma-informed care, as well as:

• Familiarity with working in a telehealth environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a robust benefits package, including:
