Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients, developing individualized therapy strategies tailored to their unique needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to groups, families, couples, and individuals, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, sharing insights and strategies to promote comprehensive client well-being.

• Maintain accurate and current clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the respectful and confidential handling of all patient information.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and staying abreast of the latest research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on a diverse client population facing various challenges, including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, substance misuse, and relationship issues. Your work will be instrumental in empowering clients to achieve their therapeutic goals and improve their overall mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, particularly within a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care.

• Experience with teletherapy and familiarity with telehealth platforms is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
