Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at WPS, you will play a pivotal role in the lives of our clients. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Individual Counseling: Provide empathetic one-on-one therapy to explore clients' thoughts and feelings, helping them develop coping mechanisms and actionable strategies.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools to track client progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your work will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 experiencing mental health challenges, who are enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This population often requires specialized care and support as they navigate the complexities of early adulthood. Your expertise in working with this demographic will be crucial in helping clients address issues such as anxiety, depression, and transitional challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) designation in Maryland.

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant field, including counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

WPS Behavioral and Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
