Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Professional Counselor will be engaged in various impactful activities, including:

• Group Therapy: Facilitate dynamic group sessions where clients feel safe to share experiences and learn through collective engagement.

• Individual Therapy: Provide personalized counseling by employing therapeutic frameworks tailored to clients’ unique thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, assisting them in developing viable coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaboratively design individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and address specific needs, preferences, and desired outcomes of each client.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize assessment tools and client feedback mechanisms to consistently evaluate and document client progress, ensuring that treatment plans remain relevant and effective.

• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other members of our multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, share insights, and consult on complex cases, enhancing the overall effectiveness of treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 participating in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This age group often experiences significant transitions and challenges, making your role pivotal in guiding them through their mental health journeys. Qualifications\n

• Educational Background: A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Licensure: Current Maryland licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of professional experience in a mental health setting, particularly those who have experience working with adolescents and young adults. Familiarity with telehealth modalities or evidence-based treatment approaches is highly regarded.
