Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote but is associated with our outpatient office in Potomac, MD. Our practice operates with the flexibility to meet client needs, providing services seven days a week from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Our dedicated administrative team supports scheduling and client services, allowing you to focus solely on providing exceptional care without the added stress of administrative burdens.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma backgrounds and identify tailored therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience enhancement, utilizing frameworks such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to assist clients in processing trauma and enhancing coping mechanisms.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and integrated care for all clients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and support during critical moments.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, fostering a supportive learning environment.

• Document all interactions and treatment plans meticulously, adhering to legal and ethical standards of confidentiality and practice.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations and professional development focusing on trauma-informed care best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Counselor at Tarrant Post-Acute Care Practice Center, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals affected by trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Your role will involve fostering therapeutic relationships that empower clients to overcome their past experiences and promote healing through understanding and skill development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n
